I Made Music and a GIF
Greetings! I have some awesome things for you.

I made a song, and I call it "Piano Primero". On December 15, 2021, in my first period class, I had this tune in my head. Sometimes I get tunes in my head; it happens, but they're usually not good. For some reason, and for this specific tune. I wanted to remember it. I opened MidiEditor and started inputting the sounds my brain had made. I decided to expand upon it, and I got interested and inspired. I started working on it and started losing focus of my main task. I got input on how the song was going and it was rather positive.

Fast forward to later that night: I opened my laptop and started putting in notes. It was rather tense; I had decided that I should finish it in 24 hours. How unhealthy since I started making it at 8 in the morning that day. Am I right? I hope so. I finished it up, recorded the speaker's audio output in Audacity since I didn't know of another way to export it, and saved it as a wave file. And then I exported it to an .MP3 file. I was finished.

I got 4-star feedback in general. It turns out that the MIDI file that I used had notes that wouldn't play outside of MidiEditor, so I re-exported it a bit later. Yay.

Needless to say, here it is. With the tools I had, I like it.

PianoPrimero.mp3

If you want to download it, here are the rest of the audio files.

PnoPrimo.mid (Original MIDI file, play with MidiEditor for intended quality)

PianoPrimero.mp3
PianoPrimero.wav
PianoPrimero (Restored).mp3
PianoPrimero (Restored).wav

The "restored" ones are ones with the intended qualities, and the others are missing notes. Figure that one out. I have yet to fix the issue. It's a MidiEditor issue.

I also made a GIF!

Yay. I made the frames in FlipNote Studio on the Nintendo DSi I had laying around. It was for a science project and I made it in less than 8 hours. Unfortunately, as of composing, I don't have a Copyright on the picture, so as usual, I put my oh-so-small notice at the end. It's composed of 586 slides and I had to make a second flipnote since the first one reached its maximum file size. It wasn't actually exported as an animated GIF from the program itself, but as sequential images that I had to make a program to rename. I imported them into GIMP and figured out how to convert it into a GIF. Anyways, Here is the link for the GIMP project. It works in GIMP, version 2.10.12. I prefer that if you share it, you share it without editing. I can't really enforce any Copyright rules here. Be sensible!

As unstructured as this is, I'll post it. Oh well. Teacher, I hope you like the end result!
