Ronture's Blog| Converting VB to VBA |
|---|
So, two things to know: "VB" stands for "Visual Basic" and "VBA" stands for "Visual Basic for Applications". Miceosoft Visual Basic is a rather old-founded programming language where you can make a Windows program, design it, and make the backend coding all for one program. You can add forms (a.k.a. main windows), modules, classes, etc. I use Visual Basic 6 for my programming class. I think Visual Basic for Applications is a lite version of Visual Basic that has 70% of what regular Visual Basic has, and I also think it's for some sort of embedding in... MS Office? I don't know, You can Bing it on your own. ![]() Here I converted one of my math programs on converting standard equations to factored equations to VBA (VBA on right, original VB on the left). I manually edited and added the buttons, labels, and text boxes for this, so it was more of a re-implementation of the same program on Visual Basic for Applications. Hopefully I can convert these all before I loose my school laptop or else I may have to buy VB 6 to "convert" them. Oh well, hopefully my homework gets done and I have time to convert the important ones, at least. Have a great day, padawans and masters, old and young. "May the force be with you." Signing off, |
