"Blue Cardinal" is out of InDev

There is this project I have been working on but haven't told the public yet.
Even if this was a finished post, the public still wouldn't know because the site would be still offline.

I, Matthew, have been working on an encryption program since March 16, 2021. It was only 2 days ago that I finished the Public Key algorithm for the program. Let me provide you some context to what's going on!

Here is a picture of what the program interface looks like in its current development stage, also shown below.

NOTE: The IDE I am using is Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), which isn't directly executable from the file system. VBA can be opened from Microsoft Office 2003 or higher, through Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other primary Office programs. In mainstream Office, you may need to enable the "Developer" tab in File > Options > Customize Ribbon > Customize the Classic Ribbon > (tick the "Developer" box). You can then click "Visual Basic" in the Developer tab. For Office versions like 2003, Click "Tools" and look at the options that might be in "Advanced..."

Here's how it works! When you run the program, you will may see this window, also shown below.

At this window, you can enter a 64-character randomly-generated private key. This is a key you should not share with others.

I have ruled the following four keys as "released" keys (also known as "dummy keys"), meaning that I have released such keys for the intent of practice or educational use of the general public to use. I do not recommend using them for message decryption.

  • JV6I2h0p9Dg7SW0fF8lU5Uv5KC7R0QJ5cl4nZ5no1ts1Ce14vd6kY4KW1nz8HW7n

  • j7o70Sf8wy5f0q0Fm4GT4e6bw6sr6ot64Xm2T4H4kS2Qq2Z6i4hx1lg2Rc7hh5p4
  • IX3b2kY7fp1UJ6p7Zc4p7h74t1by7cr3tD5tq7uo4XM3O5m3c3PV8V3eA3f4i6YU

  • Is it possible to decrypt messages with these keys? Right now, yes. Reason being is because the concept, which is adding on to a message and deleting what was added, works.

Of course it's just a concept, and the fact that it's in ALPHA doesn't mean that the encryption will magically be unable to figure out. I still have a lot of work to do regarding 'tying things together' and what not. The plan was to make my own encryption method, but after reaching out to a friend about this, they told me about RSA, which was a different method that already existed. I can't make sense of how to implement it, so I may make my own.

Okay, so unfortunately the private-public conversion system I made isn't enough; I used only half of the characters instead of the whole thing. Another thing I found to be wrong was part of the algorithm; part of the process disappeared at the end every one or two loops. This should be fixable!

It's quite a strugle... hopefully I get it taken care of.

    Signing off,

    Matthew // Ronture
