Taking the SOL tests

Hey there! I'm sorry that I haven't been active for a while.

May 11, 13, and 14 of this year are the dates I took Standards of Learning assessments. If you don't know what they are, they're tests for the U.S. American state of Virginia, usually taken at the end of the school year that were designed as analyses for the teachers' performances, exhibiting whether they taught all of the material from the curriculum in a way that the students understand, or lack thereof.

Here's how it works, if you're categorized with the average group of students: you're placed in a room with other classmates. The examiner, likely to be a teacher, is required to announce that [having potential to communicate information regarding the test contents] is strictly prohibited.

For those of you who speak only basic English: you take a subject test in a room with people. The test is locked down and you cannot have other tools or electronics with you. But you can have the testing device and tools you are given for the test. You can have a book for reading after you finish it.

(Yeah; if you want to learn more, go here.)
