Finishing Up The Semester
The time is approximately 00:20, January 13, 2021 (Eastern Standard Time).

What I've been witnessing in the past few days has kept me busy. Yesterday was the end of the grading period for any assignments turned in for all of my school district.

This is what kept me busy during the past three days. No, this is an incomplete list. It was much longer. 36+ assignments kept me busy during the time when I did not post here. Was I busy with other things? Yes. Did I procrastinate? Yes. Did I spend 4 days not doing lots of homework? Probably.

For those of you who do not know, I usually fall into the INTP section of the 16 personalities test. Being an INTP is great for the most part, but probably the worst issue an INTP faces is the lack of getting work done. I procrastinate. A lot. When I procrastinate, I don't get homework done. When I don't get homework done, my electronics get taken away from me. When my electronics get taken away from me, I don't get to do the things I want to do, like browse Twitter, YouTube, and Discord. When I don't do those things, I don't feel as happy as I would doing that.

Now that doing my 2nd quarter homework is useless, I don't have to do any of it! The worst that happens is I get a bad grade in Spanish and move on. I'm highly considering dropping out of concert band anyways. Yes, I got a 15 in that class this quarter. I don't like doing work in that class.

Don't get me wrong, I think that Band class was great. I performed well in Concert Band. However, since my only grades are for homework and this "questionnaire" he gave us to complete, it doesn't look like I did a good job in that class.

Well, I'm dropping out!

I'm not usually like this, but 3 days ago I worked on homework as fast as I possibly could! There was no messing around with me! I got 10 assignments done that night within a span of 10 hours. I didn't like that ratio. The next day, I attended school as usual, and when I got home, I completed more! It wasn't as much, but it was satisfactory. Yesterday I got the rest but 15 assignments of my work submitted.

Why do I say submitted instead of completed? It's because I didn't complete this one Algebra assignment that consisted of roots, square roots, and imaginary numbers.

I didn't like that one. I got that one done last.

Another assignment I did was for English 9. I was assigned to write an essay about this book that we were reading. Since I didn't fully understand what was going on in the book when we got to the end, I had asked him (on December 13) for an alternative prompt that I could work with. He was nice enough to offer the class alternatives if we decided we wanted some. When he gave me the prompt, I KID YOU NOT, this is what I was supposed to write about:

Now you may not be asking,

| But Matthew, that should be easy. You're familiar with school lunch, right?

NO! First of all, I’m not familiar or experienced with the school lunch program here. Second of all, I don’t regularly pay attention to the menu items. Last of all, I’ve only bought school lunch once or twice and that was back in elementary school.

What am I supposed to do now, make fun of myself and make an essay about school food? I replied to him about this and he had mentioned (since it was already January 5) that he cannot give me an alternative prompt because the quarter was ending very soon.

He also tells me that, since I'm a nice kid, that he is going to pass me anyways. Keep in mind that I have not completed this essay yet. I go ahead and finish the essay after a long time of getting stuff done and lo and behold, I can cross another item off of the list!

I'm getting tired. The time is now 01:14. I'll probably finish this up when I get up.
